Hehe i wish i had money to burn Paul, but im only trying to find the best option... i would prefer a new ECU rather a 2nd hand one... So far the best new pice i found for a PFC is $1200 with h/c + gotta gut a Z32 AFM $350 then $450 for tune = $2000 so by going EMS Stinger ill be saving $200...

There is an LT12 with plug in adaptor for $1100 on these forums.

Install is free, cause it has the plug. Tunes for microtech are usually under $450. My full tune was $300 with a very good tuner.

You are looking at $1500 all up and don't need to worry about AFM.

Thats a better option, as its $300 cheaper than your first idea, also is built for 6cyls.

I have heard some bad things about Microtech... and i would prefer to stick with an ECU that my tuner is confident in... that wat ill get the best possible tune for my car..

Thanks

Yeah fair call. Stick with your tuner for sure!

If you are trying to save money though, I'd find a tuner that was happy with microtech.

I have gone from stock to Microtech's in TWO cars. Both cars felt like different machines after the full tune. Idle was mint, mid range was so strong and response was improved heaps.

Don't worry about the new LT series microtech's, any tuner who knows what they are doing with one, will give you a smooth result, fit for a track or dailey driven car.

As you say tho, if you like your tuner, he says EMS, I'd stick with it for sure.

Tuners option FTW!
