Weird Idle And A Funny Noise

hey guys i have r33 s1 gtst auto and up till now i have been happy with its performance and its been running quite smoothly. but recently i have noticed that when im stopped at the lights or the car is in park, the tacho needle moves up and down ever so slightly and sometimes the car gives a gentle shudder. its like the vibrations build up to a point and then fade.

right now its very mild and i can just feel it. but its strong enough to show clearly when i look in my mirrors.

and another thing, which may or may not be unrelated, today i heard a fast ticking noise coming from under the hood. opened it up and it seems to be coming from what i think is the fuel rail from mainly one of the mushroom looking things (injectors??) attatched to it. is this a major problem?

this is my first car and i am almost completely clueless as to what could be the problem. so please help out if you can.

Sounds like the car is idle hunting, have you tried cleaning the AAC valve (there's a tutorial on this forum)? It should fix the idling issues.

had a read, will try this asap. meanwhile, its not gonna cause any lasting damage right now is it?
