since they are 2 licences (motorbike and car licence), dont u loose ur motorbike licence and get to use your car licence then?

Your car/motorbike & boat liciences are all tied together...

I was breath tested this morning at caloundra at the boat ramp before going wave jumping on the jet ski... First time this has ever happened, but the water police did a check on my licience number to see that I have done the latest jet ski licience update and that I was on an open licience... I blew 0.0 tho as i didnt have a heavy night last night... But its the same rules as the road when on water...

The only licience I have that cannot be taken is my 14t forklift ticket... :P

    • Sorry guys I won’t make it. Tried hard to have my car fixed but I can’t get her to rev under load. Can cycle through the gears in granny mode but have nothing over 3,000rpm if I need to hit the accelerator.
    • Hmpf, still dealing with the flu/covid/plague so won't make it this time
    • Yeah, even here in SA they used to not allow coilovers if they could be adjusted (down) after they'd been inspected and "passed" at Regency, because....you could just drive away and lower it. But now they take the view that they may as well just pass them, and if you lower it below the limit then it's on you when you get defected and they will make your life harder on the subsequent clearance inspection.
    • Just to give an update coilovers passed without any issue!
    • Ducan , yeah sure mate , the unit is https://www.carlinkit.com/ambient TBox Ambient -  plugs straight into the USB C and it runs as a android  unit and you can link your phone to it via Bluetooth , but it only allows for one phone at a time. you can download and apk files you want and load it on there , I downloaded a basic maps apk (OsmAnd+ — Maps & GPS Offline) so I can run navigation without data usage , its not as good at google or wazes but it works fine for what I need. I can put up screen shots if you like. Cheers Pac
