Ron of all people would rather have Lewis to win, but Nando would really spoil the party if he won, then left the team and took the number 1... Mclaren would be stuck with numbers #22 and #23

Id hate to tell you, Ron may be forced into letting the dirty sanchez win.

Its the only way really to avoid an all out holocaust within the team. Why let Mad Max have another go at the team on behalf of the spanish politicians if LH was to win?

thing is, its a double edged sword..if LH is deemed to have been treated unfairly the british press will go into a frothing frenzy...theres no safe way out of this.

what has become completely and transparently apparent to me is that that bastard, cheating, conniving, sniveling, monobrowed, backstabbing, two faced, manipulative spanish traitor HAS TO GO.

no ifs. no butts. no maybes.

FA has exactly that in his defence...F.A

ffs... this is fkd

bring back Raikkonen

that would be ideal wouldnt it?

id actually rather spare all of MacLaren, the paddock, the entire PLANET and both drivers ofcourse, the ignominious tribulations they would have to suffer if either driver was to win but, Kimi..?

if he was to actually take it out, id be a happy man...actually, id be rather content.

unfortunately, it would deny us of one page of history only to be replaced with another...and for some thats the way it should be written..

im not sure if i agree though... I really would love to see LH take it this year but i say that out of sheer respect and admiration for the job he has done throughout the year and that as a rookie, obviously in a superior car but with such aplomb! He has been absurdly unreal...even if we are going to take the HYPER critical stance...

i can wholeheartedly say though that i do NOT want Alonso to win as for him to do so would be to justify his documented cheating, political lobbying, blackmail, in house sabotaging, and whatever else anyone else has to say that is backed with credible evidence. Compared to Alonso, in these stakes, LH is just a humble church mouse...

we are only days away from the fireworks and i can substantially guarantee this is going to go off with one BIG almighty bang.

as much as i hate Alonso's wanker attitude I say thank god for something interesting in Formula Ho Hum......the racing is crap but the soap opera continues to raise interest...really F1 is days of our lifes on wheels....

Alonso to Renault 2008....wonder who gets that juicy Mclaren drive next year....and please it wont be Webber (he is a fkn disgrace) passed by Kokalivin on the straight while he was signaling to the pits that coulthard was weaving in front of him...

Wow, this race is going to be so damn tight, but it does seem that the actual event is secondary to the soap opera of F1 affairs.

"NEW to ITV this autumn: 'Not without my daddy'.

Lewis is a kid who went to watch the big cars race, but after meeting a nice older guy, he was left touched in ways he never thought of before, and decided to be a racer too!

Watch as he battles everyone in his enchanted car of destiny against the evil powers of Nostrillius maximus! His evil rival and arch nemesis, and his fellows in bad-ness Dark son of rajab Kimi and Massa-tor!

Watch as kindly wizard Ron gets right behind Lewis and pushes him harder than he's ever been pushed before, and in a twist of events, Lewis' dad learns to use a dictionary, and finds out what is meant by "Vicarious victory"

The action does not stop! Can the noble British press help our hero? Can the evil empire be torn down? Can Lewis cry on command if he loses, and cry out that he loves being the only british driver worth a damn? Will Coulthard whup his arse? Find out on ITV's new 'Not without my daddy' repeated daily at 7 p.m. on ITV, your neutral network."

buahaha... it's so true. lewis hamilton, the cindarella story.

Alonoo to get up just to piss RD off for his skull duggery and treatment of DC in the early years of Mika when he was the better driver. Karma may take a few years to come around. And the fact that Montoya was miserable...its easy to believe there is something in what Alonso is saying.

There is no way RD is going to get LH to let FA win the WDC. NO WAY on earth. If Alonso gets up it will be because he sold his soul to the devil...again

Massa Extends His Ferrari Stay To 2010

Felipe Massa is set to remain at Ferrari until the end of 2010 after signing a new deal with the Scuderia.

Massa's future has been the topic of some debate with reports suggesting that he's heading to Toyota next season to make way for Fernando Alonso.

Ferrari, though, have put an end to those rumours by announcing a contract extension for the Brazilian. The new deal sees him remain at Ferrari until the end of the 2010 Formula One season.

To date the Brazilian has raced in 34 grands prix for Ferrari, claiming five victories, six podiums and eight pole positions. He has also amassed 166 points during his time with Ferrari.

Massa's team-mate Kimi Raikkonen is already under contract through to the end of the 2009 F1 season.

Well... that seals a lot of futures i suppose

my friends within the paddock have told me something interesting...

have you thought about the fact that the dirty sanchez ( as he will poetically forever be known to me as long as he races ) will stay at Mac?

both drivers have mentioned they dont want to drive along side each other again, but contractual clauses may otherwise prove that they must.

can you imagine that?

its not as far fetched as you may think.

even if i hated my team mate, i still have to do the bst job possible in spite of it and that may well be what happens after this season has reached its climax...

Was watching the news last night, and saw an interview with Jackie Stewart in which he said that he's pi$$ed becuase the FIA have said that they're going to keep an extra close eye on the Mac team to ensure both drivers are treated equally. (i think someones already posted about it)

If this is true and they are doing this, then this is by far the most ridiculous turn of events I have ever seen in motor racing.

FFS when Schuey was around, Barichello would be forced to slow down for Schuey, get out of Schuey's way, clear debri for Schuey, scratch Schuey's nuts, and possibly blow him before each race, an no one blinks an eye.

The good thing is that at least we all know where the FIA stands and that it is preppared to put any amount of pressure on rival teams to ensure it gets the result it wants.

Ideal outcome,

LH - spins out on first lap taking out KR leaving Alonso to cruise to victory with a grin so big it stretches his helemt.

Reason

Can't stand LH and the goody 2 shoes attitude. He comes across as the most coniving smug brat i have seen in a long long time. The FIA has done everything it can to screw Alonso of the title this year, and give it to Ferrari so nothing personal to Kimi, but Spin City is my wish for you.

Ferrari never claimed parity, Schumi knew Ferrari was his team and the team knew that they were their to back him up, in fact, 99.9999999999% of F1 fans knew/know this. There is no dispute, Ron. D on the other hand 'Claims' parity, hence he should deliver it, considering BOTH drivers have a shot at the title, aside from when Schumi broke his leg in 1999, whilst he was at Ferrari, none of his teammates had a real look-in for championship contention anyway...

Mark,

The point I was trying to make is that the FIA have no businees trying to enforce something that they have NEVER before made an issue with any team.

In all honesty I couldn't give a crap what RD says. If he says that there is no parity for his drivers and that he prefers LH to win, should the FIA ensure that he delivers on this?

Like I said, my comments were aimed at the FIA, i simply used Schuey as an example cause as you said, no driver in his team was ever on par with him, yes in skill, but also in treatment from Ferrari. So it's a bit hard to swallow the FIA jumping on their high horse and demanding that Mac treat both their drivers equally.

I see it as nothing but another nail their trying to drive into the Mac team to ensure they walk away with nothing this year.
