hey guys, just a lil note to let ya know im still alive and the beast is back.......

for all you new members out there that havent met me, my names pete and i own a 1966 Prince Skyline GT-B ( thats right a 40 year old skyline GT)

the crazy brake up grade and suspension rebuild has finally come to fruition......

so now on the front to replace the snapped king pins i have use 4 cylinder prince ones( the only ones i could get my hads on in australia) with complete custom backing plates and adaptors, R32GTR 300mm cross drilled front rotors with R32 Type M 4 piston calipers and U12 pintara brake lines.....

so with the few other mods to be bolted in ( afc, ebc, new zorst and R34 Neo Turbo), im hopping to see ya all on the road soon...

Pete,

After the dollars you have obviously spent on this, why cut corners with brake lines?

You have upgraded to 296 x 32 rotors & 4 spot callipers, yet use rubber brake lines in lieu of about $80.00 for s/s braided teflon.

ditto, i was thinking the same thing pete ......btw bekky says hi

at the moment.... i dont have the 140 needed for adr approved lines for SA, saving cash up for these....... thats why those lines for the moment......one the funds are avalaible( hope in next week or two) i will be driving the beast down to get custom ones made...... so its only a temp solution for the moment, till the good stuff is avaliable

and jase... say giday back to beck for me.... and give young one a cuddle too.......:)

na looked into that and na, no go,... cars to narrow and its a double wishbone call over shock set up, not a strut front end... no room to even put in struts either..... ah well
