Hey guys new to the forum and in the market for a 32 gtst. Just inquiring about the potential of the RB20 and what can be done with the car its self. Not looking for all out ball tearing power. I own an Toyota EP82 atm and its borderline go-kart/rag doll.. so i'm going to be setting it up more to the response/handling side of performance.

Is the 32 gtst able keep the power down well to the tyres.. if set up accordingly.. and

What is the limit of the stock turbo & stock cooler, max (safe) psi & hp..

Cheers

Stock turbo is good to about 150-160rwkw on a good tune and good condition rb20. Most people replace the stock cooler with a FMIC or a R34 sidemount, I can't really comment on what power the stocker is good till, you'd probably get heat soak with stock power levels.

You won't be able to do rev limiter launches with RWD but it does grip quite well. Its all about tyres really. Handling is great but really benefits from aftermarket suspension as the stock gear will be quite worn out. With 150rwkw I don't lose traction in first or second in the dry going in a straight line, thats with a blown rear shockies aswell.

get a 32 and put a rb25 in it. then your power potential will rise. you will be looking at close to 200kw on stock turbo with all the usual mods. the only problem is that high rpm launches won't be possible anymore unless you want to fry the tyres.
