Thankyou for your valued input, it is so nice to get some positive feedback from someone intelligent like yourself.

The car in question has been fully built by myself and has made to date 727.5hp and counting on pump fuel and took out this years Summernats 6cyl turbo class and also Horsepower heroes 2nd runner up over all categories.

I am not a cheque book racer and enjoy doing it myself.

Some people like it some don't, but at least i can say that i did it myself and didn't just buy someone elses car and call it my own.

If you would like any advice on where to go to get stuff done please don't hessitate to ask

Congrats on your efforts.

However, a mate went to get a closer look at your car after the 727hp run and he was given the "Are you right?" pompous and arrogant attitude by a guy (we're assuming it was you). Whoever it was - lighten up.

some bastard let 3 of my mate tyres down while we where at bradon watching..its a bloody old lazor for f.uck sake

u reckon they would have let down all 4 if they done 3 what made them shop at that last wheel , scum

It definitely wasn't me. The only guy i asked whether he was right was a guy who said he wanted to buy the car and then proceeded to stuff me around while i,m lined up in the super cruise and started ripping at my seats and fuel cell to see if they were bolted down. I politely told him it was not the time or place to be yanking at stuff as i was in the final in the morning and didn't want anything broken, and if he was serious he could organise to do that sort of stuff after the finals. I am sorry he got that attitude but i get a lot of so called friends that hang around it and pretend that its theirs.

If your friend wants to find out anything about it he can just pm me and i will tell him all he needs to know and send pics.

I meet widebody32 last night and he was more than happy to show us his car and answer any question we threw at him, your friend must have been the problem if he had something wrong with him.

:(

I've met Julian, owner of Widebody in my suburb a year back.

I saw his 32 and stopped my shitter ford accross the road to get a better look. I was invited into the garage and offerd a full once over. Not bad for a random who pulls up out the front. Spent 30 mins talking 32's and mods.

I'm not the best example  but plse tempre what's said about peeps and their Skylines.

(unless its a 33 - then it's open slather :) )

Thanks for the response, Julian. I will pass on the message.

Are you planning on running it at WSID before you sell it? What box is in it?

Charlie.

Very tru Karl.

Hey I see that Melissa every so often at work, she drives that kitted up black prelude with the cracked front bar. Used to be a highlight going to my Friday meetings walking past her desk. Too bad she moved to another section recently. If she had more normal eyebrows she would get an extra 5 points.

    • I ❤️ Matty I would like to thank Matty for going out his way in securing me a OEM NC detachable hard top for the NC Matty, your worth your weight in gold, and I cannot say how much I really appreciate your outstanding help I'll get it colour matched once I pick it up sometime in Dec-Jan 😁
    • We have some genuine Japanese legally decommissioned car number plates now in stock 🙂 Add some legitimately obtained JDM style to your Skyline or other Japanese model, or simply as a garage/man cave decoration! About the 40mm hole: The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure & Transport in Japan recognised the popularity of keeping decommissioned plates among car enthusiasts and came up with a method to "destroy" (or render them unusable for street use) while still retaining their collectable/usable value for display etc.  We have 40mm hole covers available to cover the hole nicely with a Sakura motif, which are also available in white in (very!) limited quantities, however they frequently sell out. Please let me know if you're wanting one or more of these and I'll check availability. The Sakura motif covers are more common. https://www.oemsoko.co.jp/products/genuine-decommissioned-japanese-vehicle-number-plate-set-su-7515 https://www.oemsoko.co.jp/products/genuine-decommissioned-japanese-vehicle-number-plate-set https://www.oemsoko.co.jp/products/genuine-japanese-vehicle-number-plate-400mm-hole-cover *Please note that we can't obtain particular number or area name (eg: "Gunma 500 Fu ・86") if requested. All plates are provided as they become available after decommissioning.
    • Ah, fair enough. For the IAT, I'm using a legit GM sensor that was used on the car prior to my current build. I'll get another wideband and IAT ordered and follow up when they show up. Thanks for the help.
    • You shouldn't need to massively fatten up the mixtures for cold conditions. For one thing - 0°C is not that cold. For another, the Haltech will be using the IAT sensor to tell it how dense the air air, and calculate the correct amount of fuelling. Then the cold start enrichment is added as a % on top of that, so it should scale with the main fuelling. You might also doubt the IAT sensor at this time. You're not using one from an RB26 are you? Using a nice Bosch sensor or similar? Happens. Some wideband units take great pleasure in killing their sensors. Put another wideband in the tailpipe and compare. Or just swap the sensor to a brand new one and see.
    • Oh, my misunderstand. When the car was running, it sounded ok, but if I gave it any gas it wanted to die but caught itself afterwards. It's very different from how it was a couple months ago when it was warmer outside. The logs show that the AFRs are better during, what I assume, is warmup enrichment. Because it's cold, and air is more dense, should I work on the enrichment bit?
