The Ferry At Wisemans Ferry

Hi guys, happy new year to all

has anyone taken their skyline, particularly lowered ones, onto the ferry at Wiseman's ferry? Just wondering if there would be any problem about boarding it as I dont have any other car and plan to camp there at the del rio camp ground

we all took the ferry..

lots of low low cars.. no one had any problems

there is a bit fo a disscuission in that thread some where as well

just as long as you take it on an angle, youll have no probs

Thanks for that. Damn yeah thats alot of skylines crossing it, very good to know. Interesting thread, now i know that the ferry is free too, yay!

It also depends on whether it is high tide or low tide. If it's low tide you've got buckleys chance of getting on. High tide it's pretty easy.

Silver GTST's car has been on the ferry, but if I remember correctly he told me his front bar did touch and scrape. His front bar is a genuine GTR bar though, and is *plastic* that bends and returns to shape, unlike fibreglass bars that will just bend then snap.

I found with some angled entry, it's fine. Same way you would take most driveways!

If an FD RX7 can make it on, a Skyline should be a piece of cake.

There are steel guide rails on the ramps, try and line you wheels up on them for a smoother run on.

i have seen a few cars not make it. they have 2 ramps. if you get the first one you might have trouble. go the 2nd one. that's what i had to do
