Gauge Pods

asked this q yesterday in whore-land, but only got one answer, which I cant find now.

Looking for a reasonably priced A-pillar gauge mounting cup. (dual)

Autospeed have them for $90 (autometer) but are out of stock.

anyone know a good place in perth? (nearish the city pref. rockingham is no good to me)

do you want jap or american spec tho?

ie autometer make them for 51/4 etc guages

japs make em for 52mm and 60mm guages

so if youve got an HKS, trust, apexi etc guage they wont fit in the non-metric autometer mountings

probably yanky gauges I think.

the difference is not that great, and If I have a jap holder and yank gauge I can always file out the excess.

id buy the pod which is made to fit the guage...

it would look that bad!? the difference is about 1.5mm.

that's 0.75mm difference in the radius.

well if u have the choice (which u do) id buy the pod which fits the guage

either way cypher have them locally

what size are they as i have a 65mm and would like a pillar mount but they are 60mm

i got greddy single pillar mount with apexi el1 series guage

greddy and the ones cypher sell are made for jap spec guages either 52mm or 60mm

if ya get yank gauges you'll probably need a yank gauge holder like autometer specifications or sum shit like that

although i've never heard of a 65mm guage but i think the new guages by hks(chrono) have sizes 52,60 and a whopping 80mm hahaha ya gotta be sum sorta dodgy blind **** to need 80mm gauges or ya a big tyme gangsta who sits too far back from the dash to see any gauges lol
