i know this is a bit left side, but an uncomplied Stagie RS 260. LOL now that i would like to see

needs to be road registered

Take into account a cross-mission set for the GTI-R box and it dosen't seem quite as cost effective..

Go the 20B MX-5... would be absolutely nuts

yeah, thanks. i like the pics you found there. although not as nice as the widebody i'm ordering still very tough :)

I think you should get a caterham 7. cause they are good, very good.

and put an rb in it, make it go quick.

or go the supra, since they look nice and have a sick as engine to race us with.

if your already ordering the parts for the MX5 then isnt this whole thing pointless?

i havent ordered the parts yet but i have found the ones i want if i do go ahead with it.

hmmm. well i think i'll stay away from the supra then :) nah, supra is a bit too heavy really for what i want

mx5 + sr20 = cheap reliable fun :) and then get a skyline as a second car :ninja:

it will cost almost the same as putting the rotor in. so its just a matter of power to weight. gotta have a look at it and then decide.

no it won't the rotor is about 7500 in mods and thats before the actual front cut etc....

mx5 = 8k

sr20 vvt front cut 4k

mod kit $1500

add 2k for extras

just over 15k and is a quick little beast :)

um :) front cut for 20btt is about 3-4k that i've found. all good condition and stuff, work fine. bullet racing have the mounts already i believe and a gearbox to fit as well (i think the cosmos were FF)

are you sure you can get a rotary MX5 through compliance?

yes i am, because it has been done before. bullet racing used to build them and sell them as a brand new car which met all the ADR specifications. they built them with 20b's, 13B's and v8's. i'm going to go into their office and see waht i need to do to meet everything, but i think the main concern is emmissions with the rotary.

i know 34's are not 16k, but like i said i could squeeze a little if necessary. its just thoughts for now, but didnt want to exclude it.

on gtr's, well i'm not too fussed on them is why i left the 33 out. i want something that i actually have to think about when i drive, and not let the car do the thinking for me. just the way i wanna go i guess  the purpose of this car is basically to improve my skills.

SR20 needs more money spent on it initially to withstand high boost and rpm with a metal HG and rocker stopper kit. 20B just bolt a big single on and away you go. Rotors can be just as reliable as pistons, probably more so in this case.
