hey guys

i have a 1993 r32 gts-4, the car used to be auto (so nissan fast tells me anyways, i believe its true from certain interior parts that show it was converted) ... anyways it has since been converted, im guessing the auto -> manual conversion was done in japan, because the guy i bought the car off was the first aussie owner and knew nothing about it!

anyways im not sure what gearbox it has in there now whether it be a gts-t or gtr or gts-4 gearbox

i pulled the clutch out and found a number on the friction plate, gave excedy a call to find out the clutch was a gtr clutch... so the question is .. do i have a gtr gearbox? or does a gts-4 gearbox take a gtr clutch?

is there anyways to find out for sure, because i need to get replacement parts from nissan for the gearbox

thanks guys

The pressure plate to flywheel pattern for the R32 GTS-4 & GTR is common, as is the gearbox input shaft spline. Therefore the clutch installed isn't really any help in determining the origin of the box.
