Queue all the non clued up people down here thinking they have sprung the black skyline with more than 1 occupant with Vic plates!

Police will be inundated but hopefully doesnt lead to a mass exposure of skylines and police door knocking to check. :P

Holy shit. Congrats to the police for actually calling off a high speed chase instead of acting out their own Miama Vice inspired scenarios! Well done!

Have you ever noticed how when there is a police chase that ends in a crash, the official line spun by the police involves them 'calling off the chase 1-5 mins before the actual crash' ? >_< Bit sus to me

yep - after all we are all a bunch of suspicious young men who have nothing to do but go and commit crimes every night. Forget the mafia that is sitting in the holden statesman that is next to the guy sipping red cordial in the skyline....the guy sipping the red cordial looks mighty sus......

The story is from QLD, and they've asked people IN QUEENSLAND to report a black skyline with VICTORIAN plates IN QUEENSLAND....now how many black skylines do you think will be driving around QLD with VIC plates...not very many.

I don't see what the problem is...

my mate rummie lives across the road from the house that was lol. they're a bunch of f**kheads. i wont say they deserve to have there cars torched but maybe they will learn a lesson now.

60% of that street is hoons in imports and commos neways lol

mind u it was a NA so i dont think they would be doing much escaping

I still have the VIC plates on

sure my cars not actually black...but...you watch i will feel some hatred from this

oh well i should only be picked on a couple of times before they leave me alone...hopefully *knocks on wood*

You drive a vehicle fitting the description (to joe public who doesn't know the difference between a GTR and an N/A R32) of a car used in a crime...it'd be exactly the same if it wasn't an import....thats the point I was making

      Haha thanks Lith,  So it's currently working quite well and the torque reduction is setup and working phenomenal. It also got a custom torque convertor from All Fast in WA. Stall speed somewhere around 5500rpm unlocked but still with the lockup. The car went back onto the dyno after a 3yr hiatus (even with the dbw, and other mods completed in this time) managed to make ~515kw at all 4 hubs. Sean setup the Torque reduction which now sounds awesome and working well. We setup adjustable torque controlled launch control aswell.  Man what a feature. Especially when drag racing on street tyres I Managed to get out to the drags late last year and tick a huge bucket list item off of running mine and the cars first 9. Car went a 9.98 @142 Still had the young fellas car seat in the back aswell.  This was on 255/40/17 Nankang AR-1.  Currently the Turbolamik is still completing it's own torque calcs and managing shift times from there. Unfortunately emtrons can export is still a little restrictive to export the ecu calculated torque just yet but I have recently been suggested a work around that I just haven't had a chance to trial yet.

      Yeah its bad eh. Ey! Watch your mouth. Yep, spot on. The rear's are always gone too though from brake checking. I had them perilously close to a tree that we had taken down. I think the tree peeps may have taken it. Either for a trophy, or accidentally.

      f**kin' yikes! That insulation is the shittest stuff I have ever seen. You need to do an insurance job on that f**ker, pronto. WRT to the washer cover, I would have said that there'd have to be some at a wrecker, then remembered that it's a BMW, and reasoned that every single wrecked one would have been tailgating and so the front end would be trashed.
