Hey guys ive seen and heard of a few R32 skyline's running the RB25Det engine not from factory but conversion's that have been done.

I currently have full rolling gear from a R33 skyline engine, gearbox etc and im doing some research before looking into buying a R32 and doing a conversion.

What im asking now is what parts can be transferred from a R33 skyline to a R32 skyline and what is involved in converting the full running gear from the RB20det to the Rb25det including the gearbox which is manual

So do the brakes from R33 fit the R32 ?

So atm just asking some general things to see if this is a viable option to take.

will i need a new ecu to run the rb25det in the R32, does everything bolt up engine gearbox or do they need to have custom mounts made ?

any help is appreciated

Thanks

Brakes are bolt on provided you use the R33 rotors and calipers. And the engine conversion is relatively straight forward provided you also have the loom.

The loom needs a few mods, the gearbox will require a new tailshaft, you will require a new gearbox cross member. If you have the std RB25 eco then you can use it with teh modded R33 wiring loom.

There are things that need doing but if you do a search you will find its been pretty well covered in the Forced Iduction section of the forum
