Alternator Output?

Can anyone tell me what the alternator output amperage is on the RB25DET NEO engine from an R34.

Don't you mean voltage? If thats teh case a healthy alternator should be making around 13.8-14.5 volts Check off the back of your alternator not accross the battery terminals

no i mean the amperage output, i have heard that the rb25det alternator is a good upgrade for the rb30 as the rb30 is only 70 amps output but i dont know what the output is on the rb25det neo engine alternator.

Ahh ok i couldnt tell you sorry. Have you tried a search. Make sure you dont just select the last 30 post or watever it is..search way back

It will be at least 90A as that's what late R33 RB25DET's use and I can't see that NEO's would have something with lower output. I have an R33 90A alternator on my R32 GTR, and the original GTR alt was fitted to the RB30 in my recently departed (via ebay) silhouette (so the R33 alt would have also have fitted the RB30). In each case the alternator was 'bolt on', but note that if your car is a VL, they mostly used Bosch alternators which have a totally different regulator connection.
