geebus! some of yous have some serious power! i'm shitting myself in my little 80kw mx6 turbo around corners (that is with a blown head and running at 2psi hahahaa) and some of yous are hitting 300kw mark! damnnnnnnn

:) i think my mates MX6t makes 106 FWKW

:( i think my mates MX6t makes 106 FWKW

that's alright but i haven't hooked up my boost controller and it needs some head work! and plus there's a leak somewhere which is causing me to loose boost! well maybe i might make 120fwkw boosting it to 9 psi because of the larger turbo!

maybee hes running no boost controler also but its got a VJ11 on it which im led to belive is basically same size as orriginal

EDIT

just googled VJ11 and it maybe the standard turbo looks like they can 18+ psi

Got it running again last month(slo 31) 370rwkw now with powerglide, but i picked up another

100nm of torque at the rear wheels(700nm) due to the more

efficient torque converter, Unbelievable ...the extra torque make

pretty much undriveable even on 275 Mt/et drag radials, should go

400rwkw pretty easy on pump fuel in the coming months if the stocky bottom

end holds up, it would probally make 400rwkw now if it was manual or even now how it is

on one of adelaides more happy dynoes

R31 skyline..370rwkw on 23psi(37 degrees weather)- boostworx

cheers

Yeh i heard today that Bill has won the court case.............. F#@K YEH!

and also heard he is gonna bulldoze the whole joint and run the strip down the other way! and something about putting in a jet sprint track in the middle of the cuircit! BUT not sure when all this will start! BUT WHO CARES.............. HE WON THE COURT CASE!!!!!!

lol my bad.. GT42r... Lunatic. :nyaanyaa:

Yep a powerglide is going in behind it as the r33 auto built up had issues holding the power. Not surprisingly really as 373rwkw is a rather large amount of power. :P

gt 40/42r to be picky.........I heard the powerglide was already in and made something over 400rwkw?

his doors for the year, he was already running heaps late, goes back next week for 90/10 shocks, adjustable rear control arms

R32 4 spot brakes and more power:)

    • Could someone post some pictures of the factory Jack , tools, spare tire and how they were in a 1998 ER34 2 door skyline originally?
    • UPDATE: Hi all!  As we are getting towards the end of this thread where I’ll showcase final dyno numbers and graph, I wanted to provide an update. Tao from HyperGear has done an amazing job building the custom divided T3 housing for the G30. Communication was flawless, price was great, and now the housing is estimated to arrive in 7-10 days! Very very pleased. I must add, if someone is looking for an affordable turbo and end up reading this thread, I would recommend HyperGear. Genuine brands are the way to go as their proven reliability, predictable performance, and there’s a plethora of information available for specs, flow, and more. This HyperGear recommendation is based on their excellent communication, dedication, and willingness to listen to their customers. I particularly liked their ability to create custom adaptations tailored to specific needs, which is a HUGE benefit over other brands. And if we consider the HyperGear provided dyno results, it adds reassurance knowing their turbos can compete against genuine brands. Next update will be after the dyno!
    • I've previously seen people post up "dress up bolt kits" for RBs but don't remember seeing them specify the full contents. I can only really suggest you grab the verniers and start measuring, and keep in mind the cam cover and timing cover bolts are both quite specific with a wider unthreaded section where the bushes sit, that will make it hard to get aftermarket replacements which tend to be all thread (set screws) or for longer bolts a flat section with a shorter threaded section at the end
    • I believe there was a similar one posted by @duggyphresh. They were re-routing their battery positive cable in the way I am also trying to achieve. Sorry, I’m new to this forum, so was a bit late to the party by a few months and so reignited the old thread, as I wanted to know how they got on with doing it.
