Ill post something useable

listen to what this man has to say. A GTR or GTS4 AWD chassis is completely different to a RWD chassis. Which means the crossmember is differnt and the rails are different. This means you'll have to change crossmembers, source front hubs etc and a whole lot of rubbish.

We get offered R32 and R33 GTSt wrecks all the time from guys who stack their cars drifting and accidents... its really not that hard to pick up a repairable shell these days.

Keep it simple, and save yourself the hassles. Sure the GTR look is tough, but is it worth the hassle, when you can get fibreglass guards that achieve the same look on a GTSt for much less effort?

who told you that, the chasis are exactly the the same. he could even use the standard cross member if he wanted to, but it will be alot neater and lighter if he changes it over and he will get more lock for drift. if some of his parts are bent, the replace ment parts are cheap any way. as for gearbox cross member, the one in the wreck will bolt straight in.

I think you'll find they are very mcuh different

the front rails in a 4wd varient car are shaped differently to allow the front half shafts to clear, without slaming into the chasis rails, if you tried to put a gt-r subframe into a gts-t you'll suddenly find the front end a heap higher, and if you stuck the gts-t subframe into the gt-r body itd probnably have its nose on the floor

this is why you NEED to use the 26 mounts to mount another RB vareitn into the gt-r, same goes for a gts-4, stagea etc

rofl... yup, that's why there's 2 different chassis designations from nissan, and a big arse curve in the rails of the AWD versions for the front driveshafts to clear... but you seem to know what you're talking about... so maybe you should try it n tell us how you go

Drift or sprint or even paddock bashing, its still a waste of time.
