Heh heh heh, I'm trying to work on this thing with Suncorp Metway at the moment to see if I can get the insurance under my fathers name and have a higher premium in a case where I am driving the vehicle and at fault .... anyone have any other suggestions for a cheaper way to get comprehensive ?

Or anyone who will do Third Party Fire & Theft in NSW would be nice as well

Unfortunately most if not all insurance companies will base the premium on a Grey Import on the age of the youngest driver, so that is of no benefit to me (eg Just Cars). I have put off several quotes to Suncorp and it's very confusing as to what they will and wont allow. I even question most of the responses they give and get more confusing answers back...

Good thing to get the car insured under mum and dad, it will be heaps cheaper but be careful!

When I had my accident the insurance company tried wiggling out of it because it was insured under dad. Thing is the car was under his name and I hadn't finished paying it off so they couldn't do anything about it!

Just makesure you back yourself just incase...

    • United E85 is always 85% ethanol. At least it claims to be. But that goes out of the window about thirty seconds after you put a tank of it into your car and can't do the math to determine if you have 76% ethanol, or 47% ethanol or 26% ethanol because you put 33L in, then 16L in, then a full tank of 98, then "Some" E85. Ethanol tunes that aren't full flex or full E85 all the time are just absolutely a waste of time. Don't be stupid and ruin your car.
    • I don’t mean this in any negative way. But, if u are after this type of data why don’t u have a flex fuel sensor?
    • So what now? Enjoy it and go cruising or more modifications? Few meets/cruises happen in the west every now and then, should definitely take it out.
    • The issue still requires a human to get all the logic right, and each thing being done takes up processing power. Meaning less processing power for other tasks to occur too. It also typically means a team of size 10, is working one everything, vs 5x teams of 3 working on separate products, so less man power to review and perfect it all.   That's the typical issue of AIO. It's also why manufacturers of cars even split tasks out into separate systems, and share data as required
    • Lol, i have and you can buy them in adelaide more just curious if anyone has tested this one in particular
