Hi

I have had my R33 for just over a month very happy :), was a import. So it was / is fairly stock.

Fitted a FMIC, manual boost controller, Kakimoto 3" Exhaust and have advanced the timimg to 22 degs.

I'm running 12psi boost.

My question is,

when i put my foot into it and the boost comes on the its not just one big hit, it seems to be Lumpy??

it dont feel like its missing or spluttering.

i'm making full boost on the gauge so im not thinking its a leak.

has anyone had this or heard of it?

I hope this is the right place to ask this question?

Thanks

Graham

can i ask why the timing has been advanced?

Seems lame but

the guys that sold me the car also helped fit the FMIC and then he advance the timing...

Is this not a good thing?

Also is your R33 a series 1.5?

i got a series 2 and running 15 deg advance. Mine is tuned for that, but i don't really know why you would advance it to 22 without any tests. Maybe your detonating the engine or something. wind it back to 15, go for a drive and have a look see.

Thanks for that, ill give it a go.

When it was first done it did make a difference, but now 3 weeks later its not so good?
