This will be a good chance to see just how quick a well sorted EVO is in the hands of a decent steerer. This is the car Jeff will be doing the up-coming Lake Mountain Rally and this years Dutton Rally National Championship in.

I am looking forward to seeing this in action. The guys were putting the finishing touches too it last weekend when I took my car in.

Roy came over last night in the white VII and I came up with the idea of car sharing for tomorrow. I use his wheels, he uses my car and offers driver training. Will make the final decision in the next hour or two I think. $$ are a little close at the moment which is why I am slightly hesitant.

I will still be there either way though to watch.

That makes sense but is a huge loss between fly and wheels

My car has a quoted 160kw at the engine std. Throw them on a rollign road and they struggle to make 100rwkws. So for a rwd manual they have about 50-60rwkws of drivetrain losses. So on an AWD car with east-west engine layout i would not be surprised if there is another 10-15kws of losses?????

Anyway, whatever power its making it will most likely be a brisk car....what am i talking about? Its a complete and running car which is better then anything i have at the moment

It is 11:52 pm just finished installing bigger front sway bar and put a new radiator in after mine decided to leak badly from the top tank seal.

It did a full day @ winton no problem then all of a sudden it died, anway picked up a new one from work and the car trailer and she will be up and running in the morning.

Man soo many track virgins and i am one aswell (to circuit sprint that is)

weather report i got this morning says around 50mm is expected this afternoon for the western and eastern districts. sorry for the bad news.

lets hope the weather guys are wrong like usual and we get that rain tomorrow

The rain only lasted 1min, it's all dry again. I think that is how the whole day will be, rains for a min, then drys up.
