Which Harmonic Balancer

im bit confused and would like some help from ppl who know... im purchasing an ATI Harmonic balancer for my rb26/30 build, now someone told me to get the bigger rb26 balancer, but another person said check to make sure that u use the 26 balancer and not an rb30 one...

just wanna get things right before i unload money hehe...

you need an RB26 balancer, make sure you specify what model car as the 32 is different to the others. cheapest for ATI I've found is $700 + postage and includes a water pump pulley, from Japanese Garage on the web. Romac is making balancers for the RB26 at the moment, should be ready in early February at about half the price.

Ross make balancers for them too. About $550.

yeh i was originally lookin at them too but i had a few ppl tell me through experience to go towards the Ati balancer instead

ATI know what they are on about...tried and proven. They have world recognised credibility. We got one on our 25/30.

I've not heard bad things about Ross gear.

They have made very good race gear for a long time.

With he said she said stuff, it's good if you can nail it down to construction features.

we ordered 3 of the bigger hp RB26 ati balancers near 2 years ago, no bad results here

i was under the impression the 25 harmonic balancer was ok to use.

ROMAC reckon that the ATI patent is an excellent design. That said, they also seem pretty confident about the design of theirs.
