I'll be talking to actual machine shops about this, but would like to get the opinions of some here as well.

RB30 Bottom end. Would be using 25DE pistons, so no piston costs.

Stock rods.

Stock crank.

Do Rings and bearings......but what else?

Just needs to be fresh and ready for a low hp application.

What would you recommend doing, and has anyone does a little freshen up rebuild like this? If so, costs?

Any experiences with brisbane based workshops? Would deal direct with the person doing the machining/assembly.

Comp will be high with 25de pistons, wont be an issue but. Had them in my rb30 sohc for quite a while and it went very well indeed, also work fine in a rb30de/t conv.

Have the rings checked out, most are ok to use again if its out of a low ks motor, and if its low hp application then it should be fine.
