I need some info as my company is doing some work over in the Tinaroo Dam over the next few months and i need some info on the 10% training policy the queensland government has in place.

We have completed project for Qld govt. before and the 10% trainning your talking about, is that they requires all the work done on any given project is to be done by apprentices and timesheet and work program sheet schedule must be completed, it's strict requirement and it's a way the govt ensure there are younger ppls given a chance to work and older ppls not hogging all the trades.

and how many total hrs did u get the apprentices 2 work?

i dunno, someone in the office looks after that, lol. anyway i think 10% of the total workload or something like that has to be completed by appren. and it was a commercial build, not civil, i aint no ant.

see, if u don't meet the time allowance target for apprentice u get penalize,

anyway it seem to be a very good schemme, see we don't run short on tradies like nsw and vic.
