R33 Rb25 Head

I have just had my head ported & polished, (Looks unreal) But i am unsure as to how to put the head back on. ( i know how to put it back on, But i dont know the order to bolt the head down and the right tension required for each bolt)

I have also bought a $300 steel head gasket and dont wont to f@rk it, by taking the head on and off.

Any pics on how to bolt it down and in what order would be great, thanks guys.

Sorry, slightly off subject, but where did you get it done, how much (if that isnt a rude question) what sort of figures does it flow and do you have pics?

Also, what size/brand head gasket and where did you get it?

sorry for all the quesitions, just I am about to undertake a similar exercise.

My freind is a alloy engineer in geelong! =)

Cost me 48 cans, (fill there staff fridge) :shake:

I will post pics soon. He gave me a volume flow report, i will post that aswell. Apparently it should flow a extra 25% more volume.

Gasket is a thicker HKS steel item, 1MM- .08MM thinker i think?

25% sounds like a pretty good result, esp as the head doesnt flow too bad stock.

Where did you source the gasket, that seems like a pretty good price?

The stock heads on the RB25DETs flow very well stock. Does any one know my initial question?? I need to know! =)

Otherwise i am gona get the dynabolts out and make sure the head never comes off! =) :shake:

look on meggalas site, hes got a link to the RB engine manual and it tells you there

basically its from the centre out, similar to all other engines. ask a mechanic if ure unsure. also that will tell you what torque the headbolts need, they are tightened down in 5 stages
