500rwhp? or @ the fly?

I hear every where that its 300rwkw......dunno if id like to go there though...thats a lot of readies for stock pistons, maybe if the engine has been babied it whole life (how much does that happen).

my 2c

i dun wanna start one of THOSE threads but

It's all in the tune and how you choose to abuse that power. a 300rwkw standard bottom end rb25det in a drift car wont last that long. where as if your just in it for the thrill of things as a daily, easing on the power the motor could last for years. reving a standard rb25det anything past 7500 spells trouble. It's not worth smashing your motor and letting the motor distroy the things around it. My mate did his bottom end in an rb30 and it distroyed his head and his turbo.

I saw a 595 rwhp rb25 on nitrous. It lasted a few months I believe. I think you could pull off a 500+ rwhp RB25 with a stock bottom end for quite a while if you tune it correctly and it doesnt see redline 100x a day lol.

I've heard of a few other 600 hp rb25's but that is the only one I clearly remember.

Not to thread jack, but does anyone know the record high hp on an rb20's stock block? Just curious.

some let go at 250 some let go at 300. you have to remember that these engines are starting to get a touch tired now and a lot has to do with your tuner, i would aim for say 280rwkw but if it then blows dont be suprised
