*quick Question Regarding To4e*

Hey guys, just a quick question

Would a to4e with a .93 rear housing fit onto the standard exhaust manifold in terms of space.

The car is a R33 gts-t series two (with the usual mods)

I had a quick look today while I was down at the mechanics today and It looks like a tight fit.

If not ill go custom low mount but would rather use the std. one for cop/epa reasons

make sure the to4e doesnt have a larger t4 flange size. i have a to4e (not on the car) and its a t4 flange. larger than the standard t3 flange.

It might be a tight fit once the spacer is on there...

but a .93 housing + RB25 wont see boost (above 15psi) till well after 5000rpm.

Getting the spacer tommorow, see how we go.

Had a t4 internal gate on it before, was laggy but made good boost before 5g's

hmmm...did it pull hard as once on boost?

Don't know about too many integral waste gate T4 exhaust housings , sure it wasn't some kind of T3/TO4E hybrid ?

Yep .9x housing on a full TO4E would be pretty laggy on an RB25 .

I have a to4e on a rb30 with .82 exhaust housing it only just fits on over the studs on the standard manifold (it has a t3 flange).

It is a little laggy so a bigger housing on a smaller engine will be really laggy.
