Do we gravitate towards certain manufacturers?

What I am saying is that as Skyline owners, do we gravitate towards particular manufacturers?

I hardly see much in the way of Sard or OS Giken stuff on Skylines.

Mine is half Apex'i, half HKS and I doubt I'll change from this. Wouldn't want to stray much towards anyone else...

i tend to stick to hks. i've got 2 apex'i stuff in my car, but that's becos my tuner doesn't know how to use the hks equivalent, namely power fc (F Con Pro V) and AVC-R (EVC-R).

i guess it could have to do with the fact that realistically only major aftermarket parts are available on demand over here,

lets face it, if you wanted a part that you could get either HKS or sard, for the same price, but they only had HKS in stock, you would get HKS...

i got all my parts overseas and brought them back. hell cheaper.

eg. my twin plate hks brand new about 2100 and hks gtr front pipe about 550...compare that to the bd4's ones...

I find brand snobbery pretty stupid. I buy what is good and good value for money.

if a $200 turbosmart item does the same job as a $600 HKS part, you'd be an idiot to buy HKS.

a $50 super turbo muffler does just as good a job and sounds (IMHO) just as good as some of these $500 fart cans, so it's unlikely I will ever ever buy some spanky can when I can keep the money in my poket for useful things (beer)
