Starting up again and wanna see if anyone plays in my area.

ni i play, but i need 2 find a club when i move down (so more likely ill b playing down there next season since the date has passed for me 2 transfer clubs)

if so come play at the EHills one... im going to their training sesh on Thursday to sus out the team... i didnt want ot start til next year and train my arse off until the next season but they said to just come down and train and go from there... ideally i wanna go in the pleb league against the under12s hahaha or all the old fat pricks with half a lung

id prefer 2 play in a decent kind of league but anywheres good

ni we should set up a indoor cricket team perhaps? for the off season

off season i normally just hire out a net and a ball machine at the indoor centre for a few hours and go with a mate or 2 or if its not raining head down the nets and bowl

i always find indoor affects my batting and bowling... coming off such a short run and bowling and then going back to proper cricket my run in is all farked.

once all my gear gets delivered and ur here we should head down for some net/indoor net time.

All Rounder... like to hit 6s best was 52 from 16 balls... 6 6s and 3 4s

but Its not hard when your bat is thicker then your leg

im mainly a bowler... although my form of late has been nothing short of dismal thanks to my back and shoulder issues

ahh nice.. i used 2 open bowl, now since ive gone back playing theyve been wanting me 2 bat instead i miss not being able to bowl in a game

You should see these new pads i ordered... theyre about 150 (200 for the top ones which are rated upto 160kmh) for the pair and are meant to be the shiz

Theyre not much more then the top of the line Pumas or Slaz but theyre 60% the weight... helps out heaps if your running a lot.

650 on a bat? i dont think ive even seen one cost that much... even the Puma DON is only like 550.

I still have my trusty ol GN Titan LE... all 3.4 pounds of it haha ive had this for like 6 years or so... just sanded it down the other day and reoiled it and put 2 new grips on it... bored out a few holes in the back too to even out the weight... dying to get in a net and test it out now.

Fusion Players aye.... dam. Dont think i would bother paying that much for a bat... especially when my Titan LE only cost me around $280 when i first got it.

I used to play....thinking about getting back into it this year.

I'm pretty much a top order batsman, who can bowl if need be (but my bowling sucks in comparison.)

I get all my cricket stuff from Pakistan, heaps cheaper and just as good.
