First time I saw 7 character plates was in SA about 5 years ago! It said SIMONE1 and I was counting the characters going 'wtf is wrong with my brain?' LOLz

ppl pay to much for plates now -

FERRARI $85,000 in 1999

PORSCHE $40,000 in 2000

Q90 $25,000 in 2003

AUCTION $10,000 in 2005

and we saw that red ferrari on the wknd with those plates going up Mt Tamborine.

yeh custom plates look cool,but for 400+ bucks a yr i think id pass and mod my car some more

u only pay once for the plates...

this aint NSW where u pay a ongoing fee.

we own them outright here in QLD

Only specific plates incur a yearly surcharge in NSW...plates with words etc

Other personalised plate combinations do not, unless things have changed, which they do from time to time if there's more money involved for the RTA

nsw government seems to be the worse of all governments when it comes to revenue raising.
