Well you see I'm pretty new at this, however my mate knows a fair bit about car, but this is his first skyline too. So yeah just wondering if anyone out there was interested ... like we drive over to ur place, maybe you give you can assist us with some little stuff make sure we dont fcuk anything up.

i think i'm a senior member cause evryones knows that i'm like 65 y.o and for body works and detailling, there is a place in newfarm that's really good but i have to call my mates for number and addy cause they uses them for porsche, audi, and bmw

whoa! sounds expensive already. I'm working on a budget at the moment. so yeah any well price places recommendations u can definitely swing it my way. Do u know wats a good cleaner for the leather interior - like the dash board etc. (not seats)

They will look after everything or sort it out for you.

Fair pricing - keeping in mind you get what you pay for and they will not 'do the dodgy', take any shortcuts or rip you off.

A good wash, cut, glaze and wax will do wonders for the paint on a car, have you considered putting in some sweat before paying someone else to do it?

yeah ..... well I'm like really really really really new to this. i'm as new as a newbie gets. So yeah lets say for just the right hand door, needa get new trim for door. I would luv to do it myself and save some money, but woudn't have the slightest clue where to start. I've been reading forums up and down, learning heaps but putting it into prac would be much harder. So yeah and I dont really have anyone to guide me :) .... so yeah I pay someone or could fcuk up the car myself.

Retrimming the interior can be tricky, prolly best left to someone who knows what they are doing, but it also depends on what exactly needs to be done...

The exterior would be very diffficult to stuff up yourself (with regard to cut/polish etc). Stick to the fine cut cleaner and then, unless you are a complete toolhead, you wont hurt it.

i am a fully qualified car detailer and some ppl on these forums have seen my car and can vouch for the sort of work i do...... if u guys wanna drive the cars up to toowoomba i can do em for ya lol can do both cars in one day at a guess depending on colour....
