Sticker Removal

Ive decided to remove my GTS-4 sticker from the back of my car, as it is all faded and really tacky and i beleieve it will make the car look neater.

Is there any thing that i need to apply to the sticker before/after i remove the sticker or has anyone done this before without paint removing or scratching? any tips would be useful.

just peer it off gently, and clean the remain sticky thing with gasoline, finish with water to avoid paint damage.

a heat gun usually does the trick, or some prepsol/wax & grease remover (mild solvent) cleans it up pretty well too.
