Vic Signatory Qualifications

does any one know what the qualifications required to be a VIC signatory (to sign out raws complied cars) are ? Or the process to apply to be one ? or anything about it at all ?

any info would be helpfull

A suitable Engineering degree, truckloads of insurance for mobile workplace, professional indemnity and 3rd party insurance to indemnify VicRoads against you making a mistake. Hence the average cost of an engineers certificate being $500+

That being the reason I declined.

im actually after the requirements for the Vehicle Incpection Cetificate Signatory for raws compliance for dotars

The Competency test for VIC signatories involves two main tests:

- ADR knowledge test (open book)

- RAWS Competency test (closed book)

as well as standard Fit and Proper checks, etc. That's about all I know, probably best to speak to DOTARS about the process...

I am a VIC Signitory, you also need a Automotive qulification being either a mechanic, Panel Beater, Auto engineer ect...
