Bov Issues

[MY33RT]

hey all,

i did a search on this before this but i could not find anything

last night i was driving home from work. i took off from the lights and on the 1-2 change instead of the usual futter phsst it was just a flat air escaping noise sorta like a wippa snippa.

i have a r33 with basic mods FMIC, air filter and exhaust. with the FMIC i have the air going the standard bov and out the air filter.

i still have full power but the car doesnt seem as if its 100% there

has this happened to any of you before

Check your vacuum hose on the bov

ive done that and every thing seems to be fine

It will have a split in the hose somewhere

try and use only good quality hose, then it wont happen again.

If it's the brass piston type bov maybe it's just dry and jammed? Lube it up, oooh yeah!
