 hey guys.. last week thursday night at about 12:30 midnight.. car got keyed on the left panel behind the door.. 5 girls that came out of the bar next to fast eds in carousel was pissed drunk i think.. i was at the outdoor section of fast eds smoking when i saw the girls walkin towards their car.. mine was parked next to theirs.. da girl sitting at the passenger side kept her door open and stared at me.. next thing i know there were 2 dudes that were sitting at the outdoor section of fast eds told me my car was keyed.. i ran to my car and saw the scratch marks...

please help me to locate the car.. it was a burgundy red holden astra 4 door 2000 model(i think)

the number plate that i got was 1APK473.. went to the police station to report it and they tried to trace down the number.. but it was a white nissan.. we are quite sure bout 1APK.. just not too sure bout the last 3 digits but it should be pretty close... if anyone has seen this car around.. please let me know.. my mobile number is 0402741025...

if i cant track down the b*****s.. i would need to pay an excess of $1800 for my car to get resprayed.. and i dont have that sort of money... if anyone helps me them down.. i would give a reward of $100..

P.S if the 2 guys that were sitting in fast eds that informed me my car was keyed.. pls sms me so i can keep your phone number incase we find the person who did it and if u guys are willing to be my witnesses it would be great!!

Cheers

Shit, that's no good dude  ! This [keying peoples cars] seems to be an ever growing trend. Several of my mates' cars have been scratched in the last few weeks. It should be a Jail-able offence to do this to someones pride and joy. I know if someone did it to my car, they wouldn't see the light of the next day.

I feel your pain mate...

early last sunday morning someone donated a brick to my back window, $1400 excess, so I had to sort it out my self and it still cost me nearly $500. Its not the same as b4 >_< , but finally got it tinted.

I hope ppl like this get whats coming to them.

I have had my old silvia key'd b4 and its fuct ppl have no respect for other ppls property.

mike

Sorry to hear about ur car.... someone dented my door a while back!

i say you should rethink your words, twit.

it is unfortunate that it happens, and people have to disrespect, and damage other people's property, but thats what we have insurance for >_<

Bernard, don't go through insurance to get this repaired. Go to a workshop yourself. You'll save $1,500 or around that figure and you won't ruin your insurance rating.

Keep the receipt and when you locate the f**ks they'll have to pay for it by law and there will be some charge involved.

Yep, our new daily driver got keyed, only the right rear door though? and its just a bunky pile really nothing flash? It sounds like people think its "hard" if you key someones car and they dont see you........ ???

I believe that if you do find them you should return the favour, they keyed the pride and joy of your life, how about you key their faces?????

:)>_<

I have heard not to take imports to Caro cuz it has been quite common for them to be keyed. Mine has always been ok but then I haven't taken it there often either because of it.

Good luck finding them, will keep me eyes peeled.

I try to park away from other cars and keep the car in eye sight.. but its so hard not to worry about your car in public places coz some ppl have no respect and if u dnt see it happen then your got nothin on them. I'll also keep an eye out and let you know if I see them

"Exactly, and people tell me I am paranoid. My car spends most of its life locked in a garage. Work cars are for shops!..."

Me too. My r went from being a daily driver to a weekend deal. I hate jealous ppl...and uncharacteristically now women are doing this juvenile sh!t.

Bernard...and I will strike down upon them with great vengeance and furious anger

those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will

know my name is the son of rajab when I lay my vengeance upon thee. Beeatches!

So far I have had a Commo stolen, a stereo stolen out of a Corolla and the most recent of them was an egging (thankfully the weak losers had such a soft throw only 1 actually hit) and the most sad bit is, I know who did that, and they are import people. No-one should touch other peoples cars, I would never stoop as low as to attack someones car no matter what they did to annoy me. As past experiences will prove, I say it to peoples faces and leave property out of it. Its the weak persons way out.

at dominos in gosnells couple days ago, when i was about to leave, 3 dudes sittin on the curb threw chips at my car and i got so fired up about it, i know it was only chips but i was about to jump out of the car and knock their lights out bcoz the car means so much to me (too bad the light had turned green).. well i was in my cuzn's ns coupe at the time hehe but STILL!

    • Before you blow your car up, have you checked you've made all the correct modifications to the wiring if you're still using the RB20DE loom?   Some things to look at: The pin used for the map sensor on the RB25DET, is the same pin used on the RB20DE for the Ring Gear Crankshaft Position Sensor, no idea what you've got it plugged into now. The turbo pressure control valve solenoid you're talking about on the RB25DET, the same pin is used for the Variable Air Intake Control Valve on the RB20DE.   The factory manual has the wiring pinouts in it for you to check everything. It also has the diagnostics process to read codes out. In addition, there's a great table that shows what sensors and what actuators not functioning will relate to which signals. And Nissan confirm the as everyone else has from experience, the Solenoid being disconnected won't cause a fuel cut. However, the turbo pressure sensor being missing / wrong, WILL cause a fuel cut. https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual?fsm=Skyline%2FR34-Workshop-Manual-English.pdf
    • I've been hunting info on the G Series II - this is best I have found so far(Link below). Still waiting on the G35-1150 comp map, kind of very keen   So how do we go about getting precision on that little table of yours ?   https://turbosbytm.com/sites/default/files/product/technical-info/Garrett-G-Series-II-Product_Flyer 25 30 35_1.pdf
    • yeah I get ~0.6L per session into the catch can. very ethanoly. It ends up overflowing out the breather of the catch can on circuit days too even with a 2.3L capacity catch can and I only drain out ~0.6L max. So every session I have to come in and drain the catch can, which is a hassle. So this is me cracking the shits and doing everything I can without removing the motor (back of head sump drain/breather and oil restrictors off the table). plans short term are: full length splash plates remove oem cam cover baffle add foam and reinstall at -10 or -12 AN fittings to the side of the cam covers down to the sump (luckily I already have fittings in the sump) Yes the ~340,000km unopened motor is probably not helping things
    • I'd use any fuel safe foam....mine went in 15 years and 15 rebuilds ago, still getting reused I'd have to say I don't understand swapping to studs to fit a particular baffle unless you are having a massive blowby issue, and even if you are addressing crankcase not head breathing is probably the next step.
    • BTW, the reason I came in here to "update" this list was that the Garrett G Series II range have been released and I've updated the list with their flow details if you're curious to check how they fit with previous Garretts and other brands The G-Series II G35 990 looks like a banger...
