My Poor Damaged Skyline!

I got rear ended this morning. Im kinda bummed about it because I got a speeding fine yesterday on my 21st birthday, and I think I lost my license. The worst thing is that they pegged me for 95 in a 60 zone leading on to an on-ramp of the freeway . Kind of an unfair spot, I think.

On the plus side I got birthday sex

With the speed camera and the area it was situated in, etc, you have all the right to go with it to court, plead for leniancy etc.

As for the rear end, man bad luck. Thats mighty depressing. Hope it all irons out ok

Yeah, all the panels have shifted so its a BIG job to fix. I dont want them to fix it because I'll be stuck with a crashed car that isnt worth as much as it was

bad luck dude, but as was said earlier, may be a blessing in disguise. to upgrade to a GTR!!

Il take a pot shot and say that u got pinged coming off canning hwy and that 60 zone to manning road. I know alot of people that been caught on that one. (thats the only one that i know on the freeway that's so stupid. )

I had a little shunt, had to replace the rear bar, rear panel, bumper re-inforcement, and spray the whole rear end.

To spray the whole rear end you also have to spray right over the roof and down the A pillers, as it's one section of steel.

My damage was HARDLY visibled, but the repair did need to be performed.

Total cost was $7,300.

The accident I see above needs

rear bar

rear panel

boot panel

brake lights x 2

boot

both quarter panels

bar reinforcement

window seals x 2

The remove and refit on those parts alone is going to be $10k

Then there's the labour to pull the car straight etc etc.

I put a beer on Write off.

ahhh ok i had a similar incident where someone ran into the bak of my 33. looked very similar to that... $6k and it was fixed.

but perhaps there is damages i cant see from those photos

did you have insurance? or should i say did the person who hit you have 3rd party?

Ive always thought that meant their insurance company has to pay for it if at fault? so new car for you?

The assessor just called me and said its most probably going to be a write off, however I need to get a quote because if the accident goes to court they need evidence that it was actually written off.

thats some terrible damage mate, i wish you were in adelaide and it came as a repairable write off, id be pestering you and offering cash for your complience plate........
