idle should be near -500mmgh, so the stock one is correct

your electronic one is incorrect

where is the signal for the elctornic unit coming from?

check the tubing, check for blockages, leaks etc

17inHg isn't 17psi, it's closer to 8.5psi (or in this case -8.5psi)

Typically imperial gauges (whether digital or anologue) show positive pressure as psi and negative pressure as inHg.

If your ebc displays psi then it is almost certainly displaying inHg at idle. Funnily enough my car used to idle between 17 and 18 inHg when i had the old auto meter gauge. With the Greddy gauge it's at about 400mmHg.

Ok I just wanted to make sure everything was right? Yea that is -17 psi and I was also wondering what was wrong with because when boosting the ebc and stock boost guage are virtually identical but at idle its at -5 * 100mmhg and the ebc reads -17psi. So even if it says -17 psi 0n the ebc its reading inhg?
