I only got one reply in the styling section which wasn't much help (no offence) so i thought i would post my question here

I'm gonna get some new rims, finally, I'm just looking for some recommendations, i want them to be a grey shadow colour as i think that would suit the two tone colour more then a chrome silver would. I'm more into the performance side of the car so what size tyres rims would suit for better take off/power to the ground.

I'm also thinking a deep dish might look nice

thanks for any help

btw, this is the offset i got of maggala.com

front - 18X8.0 +33 225/40 R18

rear - 18X9.0 +39 255/35 R18

That wheel looks nice - I've found with my 33 that you need the biggest diameter, width and dish you can fit to make them look good. 33's are a hard car to get the right rims for - I think I stuffed up when I bought mine.

Here's a link to tempe tyres packages.

Firstly, what is your budget? Are you after something local or jap?

My advice is to look at as many pics as you can from google...or try this site here...

Click on the Members and Owners Ride links..plenty of examples there...

Wheels are like women and shoes....you never know how good or bad they look until you try them on ;)

thanks for the replys so far, another question i have is, do the front rims have to be a different width size to the back rims, I see many people have a one inch difference between the back and front rims, does it matter for example if the fronts are the same as the rears, 8 inch front and back?

Your car came factory with all four wheels of same width...yes its fine. Staggered width is just a personal preference, being RWD cars, having wider wheels at the rear gives tht added traction and also looks cool :D

Also means you cant rotate your wheels for maximum tyre life

what do u guys think of these?

also it says - (Deep Dish on Rear) - does this mean the fronts aren't deep dish?

Deep dish pack means the rears are wider and allow for more dish. The fronts still have a bit but I wouldn't go calling it deep dish

You kidding anything higher than 18 is too big? even 19's sometimes look small on a 33!

These are the rims i got on mine, 19's 8.5 all round and i think they look a pretty good size. IMO 18's dont fill the arches enough, and with 19's you can still lower the car enough so it doesnt look like a 4WD.

If your outer rolling diameter has increased, did you then re-calibrate the speedo?

they are Envy MK II's, cost about $1200 for the rims.

I just put them on and got a wheel alignment, no speedo re-calibration, but ive noticed barely any change in my speed vs speedo. It would only been very little, probably insignificant anyway.

i like those mkll, but i found out they only come in a 18 x 8 in the gunmetal look ( i don't wanna go bigger then 18's) , i'm comming across a few different rims i like but they all seem to be 18X8. so i might just go with the 18X8 for all four wheels
