Hey all, i've had this gear sitting around for too long and am need of some money (as well as space!)

Pics of most gear is up. Will get other photos today or tomorrow.

Item #1

For sale: Enkei Racing white 17" rims

Item Condition: Very good condition

Price and price conditions: $800 ono

Extra Info: 17x8 fronts (comes with 235/45 tyres, major inner camber wear), 17x9 rears (comes with tyres 255/40 and tread is at 70% with some inner camber wear). +38 offset. These were on my R33 when i bought it. Upgraded to 18's

For sale: 2x12" Pioneer subs and 1x12" Phonix Gold sub

Item Condition: Great

Price and price conditions: $200ono for the Pioneers and $150ono for PG

Extra Info: Pioneer subs come in a sinlge sub box with dual chambers. They are rated at 600w each. PG sub comes in sub box. Rated at 500w

Item Condition: Brand New, has not been fitted

Price and price conditions: $135 plust post

Extra Info: Bought this kit because was told my camber was out, went to a different place and was told my camber is fine. So it has not been used. To suit R33

For sale: HKS super dragger catback zorst

Item Condition: OK

Price and price conditions: $200 ono

Extra Info: Mild steel. 3.75". To suit R34 GTR, but had it on my R33, is a few inches short but had an adapter made up (not included in sale) which any exhaust shop can make up. Also had a resonator cut out, pretty dodgy job hence the cheap price.

Item Condition: D600 in great condition, V220 in good condition

Price and price conditions: $350 ono plust postage for D600, $50 ono plust postage for V220

Extra Info: D600 is in great condition and is an awesome phone. 2MP camera, mp3 player and all that jazz. More info here D600. V220 cosmetically in ok condition, a few wear marks, wat you'd expect from a 2 year old phone. More info on the phone here V220

      I definitely agree with you there - I never click on content for cars I would never ever be able to get or compete with/against/be seen next to. Seeing a MX5 compete with a FD RX7 will make people upset though, for sure. Even in 2.5L Turbo form which is pretty grass roots. (or at least as grass roots as classic cars can be) Yes we're all classic car owners now.

      People don't always want builds that are overly expensive, or have engineering/registration/insurance issues and head aches that come with them Whilst big dollar builds, and complicated stuff is interesting to watch, there is only a tiny % of people who would actually use this information, or have the spare finances to drop on said builds, whereas the buy a cheap(ish) cool car, and make it better, with a average budget, that the average Joe or Jane could achieve will always be a winner in my opinion

      Bit of a thread revival, you mentioned wanting a bit more top end before, do you regret not going with the 1.01?

      It's kind of interesting - They definitely do builds that split the difference between what they like and what will generate views and engagement. The NC Platform always surprises everyone in a good way, in an uncomfortably good way some may say. They could throw a LS in there and arguably have the best (and best performing) car of the entire stable. But that isn't necessarily what draws views, because people viewing don't want to accept the vegetables of a LS NC MX5 being a superior vehicle in every way (including fun) than a RB26 240Z. This is also why there's not a lot of content about the GR Yaris (on the web in general). They're too good, yet 'only a Yaris' The community doesn't want certain cars to be as good as they are - to beat their hero cars, and I believe the NC MX5 is absolutely one of those cars.
