We have everything on ours modded, just incase. But the problem with this is, even if you DO have the plate, they can say to you 'how do we know you haven't changed it since then' and fine you anyway

according to those modification links i provided you, any aftermarket steering wheel fitted to a car with an airbag is defectable and you'll receive a fine for it.

fitting an aftermarket steering wheel to a car with no airbag fitted from factory is allowed based on the size of the steering wheel in accordance to the modification rules/laws.

the hks bov you won't be able to get a mod plate for, and you can get booked for it unless you have it plumbed back.

when you get the seat you will need a mod plate. just ring either a cop shop, or qld transport and ask them where somewhere is that does mod plates in your area.

BOV is allowed however, he'll get fined for undue noise and that is it.

Maby so, but there was a court case 18 months ago about a guy fined for undue noise for having a BOV.

His defence was that trucks and buses with air brakes have air bleed valves which operate at much higher pressures and hence emmit more noise... The judge agreed with the Police that a BOV is distracting to others however he could not be fined for undue noise unless the officer wanted to fine all busses and trucks for the same thing...

So technically an officer could fine you for dangerous driving, as the dangerous driving act has a clause about distracting other drivers... But i dont think it would hold up in court, as most peoples thoughts on dangerous driving means that the driver was speeding excessivlly and driving like a idiot. So the dangerous driving tag would probablly get over thrown also...
