Finally Installed My Ebc

well i finally stopped bein a chicken shit and attacked my boost control....ended up bein childs play to install with the help of some of you guys. now i gotta set it.

i dont have a boost guage the stock one doesnt go past the 0 on the guage so i beleive i got it right in tricking it to think theres not much boost runnin through the system.

anyways my blitz sbc i color doesnt seem to use psi ....its just got numbers from 1 to 100 ive set my gain at 10 what should i set the boost at? its still got the stock turbo and intercooler.

Best to buy a boost guage to save your self alot of $$ with guessing, unless the blitz sbc shows you the level of boost but if didn't have to tap into vac lines it more than likely wont.

When you can see how much boost your running you turn up the ebc bit by bit if your unsure otherwise dyno runs will help cos they'll tap into the vac lines to check the psi your car is running.

ok can someone please tell me the meaning of hkpm? apparently my max boost has hit 0.49 hkpm...and when im on idle its - 0.69 hkpm im gathering the minus sign is ment to be there ....

also can anyone tell me if its normal to smell a stong petrol smell when starting the car after fitting one of theses? if not what could be the cuase? sorry guys im totally new to the whole boost thing

also im guessin that kphm is bar.....i hope !! anyways does -0.69 bar sound right for idol?

if i cant figure this out im just gonna admit defeat and have to take it in to a workshop
