Steering Whine

hey guys i just noticed that when i get into my car after not driving it for a while (at least half a day), when i jump in and go to turn away i get this bad whinin' sound coming from under the bonnet, sounds like something is rubbing everytime i turn the wheel, any one know whats going on? has it got something to do with my powersteetring pump or something worse??

Check your power steering fluid level is ok. Other than that might be a belt or the powersteering moter, best to go to a mechanic then.

Are you turning it on full lock when your pulling out? because (althought my line doesn't) most of the cars ive driven/seen/been in whine on full lock

power steering fluid is low and leaking. thats my guess. had the same problem, topped and tightened it up and everything went back to normal.
