Hey, I own an R32 4 door, and for the trip up to my place on a truck, the previous owner disabled the boot release (the one you use to open the boot from the inside of the car).

How can i make the cable more tensioned? The cable seems to be all attached, as I can see it move at the boot, it just seems too short to actually release the catch. I can open it with the key though.

Not sure if the 4 door is any different to the 2 door though.

Thanks, Brent.

Everytime i move the switch to enable the release from the cabin after about 1 or 2 releases it goes back to the disabled position... Whats the go? Dont mean to hijack but its possibly the same problem. Whats the go?

^^ I had the same problem. I pulled the carpet lining out, and the mechanism is able to be moved up and down by a screw (which tensions it). I will take some pictures tomorrow, but mine is working fine now. Thanks guys.
