Powerfc - Is Datalogit Necessary, How To Connect To Carputer

My PowerFC for my R33 GTS-T just arrived!

Will be installing it this weekend.

How essential is a 'datalogit' to assist with fine tuning?

I also want to run a Carputer and interface my powerfc to that, whats the best way to do that? Datalogit, or another form of interface hardware?

You have 2 options - the datalogit from NZ or the Apexi Power FC software with dongle.. i have used the apexi power FC one many times and find it really good.. cant comment on the Datalogit as ive never used it. you will need one of those to get it to work on a car computer

How much was your Apexi one? I believe datalogits are about $450?.... which seems a lot for a small serial hardware device + some software.

covers all of the connection options & features

though the apexi software was in japanese, making datalogit the only real choice for those who read/speak only english, or are you only refering to the dongle connector part of the equation.
