Is there a huge wait when repairng accident damaged imports (skylines) here in AU as parts (i.e new panels etc) have to be shipped from Japan, or can they be sourced from here here in AU, anyone had any experience repairing your accident damaged skyline or other import, how long did you have to wait?

depends on who your with. just cars uses second hand parts i believe so should make it quicker. a mate of mine had an accident in a skyline and got his car back 6 weeks later. some pretty major (in my opinion) suspensin damage, no body work though.

yeah depends on whether ur insurer is using new or 2nd hand parts. Few yrs ago someone ran up my arse in my U13 Bluebird (import). Insurer shipped in every single part and panel brand new from Japan...whole ordeal took 2 months but that was because I chose to do a full respray at the same time as well.

Depending on whats damaged, if you can source parts locally will help in a speedy repair.
