How Do I Identify A Cusco Diff From A Simple Locker?

Hi guys, just wondering how u can identify the difference between a standard LSD & a cusco LSD.

My brother had a look at a 33 which supposedly had a cusco in it. Now the wheels chirped when the

car was turning.. i was told that cusco diffs dont really chirp, they only operate as a locker/tght lsd

under load once spinning em etc.

However this car still chirped heaps. Wasn't anywhere near as ruff as some 31's iv been in with a simple

welded diff but still hopped a little.

Please give me some ways to help work this out..
