But if you want to stay safe with the epa why would anyone own the cars like we do? No one keeps theirs stock and they'll always find something to drill you with... so if your in it to mod you might aswell not do it half heartedly but if it makes no diff in removing it then its no use, might aswell just leave it in.. not that i can talk lol

EPA is the ones you have to watch though, police defect you - you gte it fixed. EPA get you and you get sent to the RTA testing sites, run on a dyno til your emmisions are correct - if not you dont drive the car til it is.

never mind the court hearing you'll get if your done twice.

i just ran a new vac line from the fuel breather to the pipe on the bottom of the canister. The other line i blocked off where it joins the sensor at the back of the engine. You could just throw screws in each line and cable tie them in.

When i had my turbo done in my car and new cooler piping and all that crap my workshop removed the carbon canister... i dun know why they did it but they seem to think it doesn't do anything in particular.. it wont hurt leaving it in, they just took that out and put my oil catch tank there... still not sure exactly what its for tho...

that workshop can be charged for removing the charcoal canister is it is required on all cars as per australian standards i would take ya car back and if they cant reinstall the old one they are up for replacing it with a new one
