32 Gtr Heater, Warm Inside.. Aircon Not Working.. Now Fixed! With Solution!

For some time now, i think after putting in new gearbox my car, its been rather hot to drive inside the cabin!

my friend suggested that there is a possibility that the valve? or switch, or whatever it is that lets water in from the motor to heat the cabin could be jammed open. where can i find such thing? and is there somewat to fix it?

Plastic trimming around gear, and where stereo is ment to be has a little temp sensor on the right, bottom. when unplugged it will pump out hot air.. and also the aircon will not pump out cold..

all sorted now.

Good stuff Angus.

The way around it (even though you've already fixed it) is to hold down the V (cold/temp down) button for 5 secs. The display will flash 'FC' and it will override the ambient temp sensor and pump full cold.

my sensor is not connected, so unless you set it to 18 degrees it pumps hot air
