Pics then.... and some of the car

If you run this through the de-sexistamatranslatorer it comes out as "Hi, welcome to the forums with your first post. I have noticed you are female. Good day to you."

Unfortunately the de-sexistamatranslator is broken at the moment, please bear with us, your forum viewing will return to normal shortly.

Haven't seen the car around, will need to keep an eye out now. Oh, and welcome to the forums, too ;)

I HAVEN'T spotted many decent skylines on the roads for bloody ages. There is a few tidy examples kicking about but seems to be a fair few less than there was 5 years ago or more. that goes for all imports. makes me )=/

^^^ agreed.

I'm wanting to get out of the import scene... even though there are some awesome people in it, a majority now are douche bags or bogans..

In saying there are bogans, i am looking for possibly a VY or VZ SS ute haha.. or an integra type S.

Spotted a white R32 Gtr on 34 GTR rims in Hobart the other day. Made me want to pull my finger out and get back into putting some work into mine.

Spotted a White S1 R33 GTS-T and a darkish orange R33 GTS-T with a GT-R front end conversion - looked a bit out of place with out the pumped GT-R rear guards though =S cruising round Devonport this arvo

    • Hi everyone, I bought the Redline diff oil and the seller has sent me Redline 75W90NS even though that’s not what’s pictured.  I’ve already booked a hoist to go and change my diff tomorrow but I’m not sure if the NS is ok for the rear diff in a R34 GTT I think the NS does not have any slip modifiers so would that be an issue?    thanks in advance
    • Not easy to find pics from 15 years ago, but here is a partial one. Keep in mind that it curved immediately from the airbox, then kept a straight line for the MAF to read correctly, followed by a 45 degree bend straight down to the turbo. This connection was the most difficult as it had to twist as well as bend to meet the almost vertical straight section of the intake.
    • Yes, well, wrt a wheel alignment, there are two types. Either: You have very little added adjustables, in which case the alignment can be done by anyone in any tyre shop or equivalent, and will only take 30 minutes, and so there is no reason to even consider leaving the car there. OR: The alignment is a major exercise because you have adjustables everywhere and so you will need to be taking it to a shop that is skilled and experienced at setting up race cars and the like, and you won't need to worry about leaving the car there.
    • does anyone know the specs of the R35 master cylinder, rear ratio and knee point? the BM57 is a 0.4 rear ratio with a 435psi knee. I'm looking for someone with a much lower knee pressure. the piston area of the R35 brakes isnt that big so might not work for me but this is interesting.. the other option for me is a GU patrol master cylinder and booster and do the prop valve externally.
    • It sounds like by avoiding maintenance you may be doing more damage than a hypothetical guy in a workshop taking it for a spin. Not sure if you are just being paranoid or things are actually that bad in the US. Find a reputable shop not run by dickheads. Look for people that take pride in their work. Stick around for the day if you have to
