Hi guys,,

just wondering if u guys experience this?

all of a sudden i noticed that there is not a lot of give in the clutch pedal.. and it's light too..getting harder to change gears.. i checked the fluid and it seems full..

the clutch was changed about 6 months ago..

what could it be? master cylinder?

just adjust the friction point

follow the clutch pedal up and where the master cylinder meets the pedal

remove the r clip and pull out the clevis pin, losen the 10(or 12)mm lock nut and

screw the mounting U piece anti clockwise(about three turns) then do it all up and see how that feels

you may all have a leak pull the rubber boot of the slave cyl a little bit a see if

there any fliud in there .

Hi, i have encountered this problem at work before and its possibly a slave cylinder fault, subarus have a very known problem with the slave cylinders causing these exact type of symptoms... make sure your clutch master cylinder rod length is adjusted properly just like rbsilvia said and it should be better as there is probably too much pressure on the master cylinder at the moment, loosening it off should definatley help... hope it works taiphan ;)
