The cut is from a r32 i always thought it was a vin number change and thats it. Iv jump the gun and put race seats and gave it the jdm drift look as thats what the car is for and a daily car. Just hope i dont have to take it back to stock.

nup

it used to be a headf**k. front brakes had to be changed to R32 GTSt, and engineer's certificate required.

Now due to regency accepting the fact that a 20DET is a 31 direct bolt-in they've now classed it as that. Basically u fill in the "application to modify a vehicle" form and submit the change in engine numbers. if they ask if you have done any brake upgrades, tell them so. Usually they'll look happily at just upgrading to slotted rotors and better pads for the front.

But do ring and check

Hmmm wudnt mind putting one in my 32, if i had the money to do so, but id want to do the whole lot. Gearbox, diff, and engine. But then some custom work would be needed for the tailshaft which could get messy. Guess i gotta give my the boys down at regency a call.
