He's still actually looking for a co-driver :(

Most of us need 4wd and tricky electronics to hide our inadequacies as drivers so Bris is having trouble finding someone with enough natural talent to pilot the R32 Supercar with him.

Which is surprising given the only real pre-requisite he has is - Must Love Gate

Yes...must love the gate and be more interested in stirring sh1t and enjoying a drink then winning the thing. With the diff fixed the car will esily win its class (based on last yeasr speed and competitiveness) .

Last years co-driver served me well, but i have decided its up to me to publically can him and say i sacked him rather then he left me for something better :(

I wish to watch the rally (NSW) and would like a program of the events, anyone got any info?

I know they are going to Wakefield, Sutton forest, Fairburn but then back up to Sydney for eastern creek, Sydney international drags. Anyone got more specific information would be greatly appreciated

:(

Troy is right - his 2006 co-driver was a slow, cone killing hack (albeit a famous one - see about 6'30" in this video -

) who feels much more at home with electronic and hydraulic jiggerypokery doing the driving for him. A 2007 contender needs to be worthy of the Bullet, and not scared and confused when told the front wheels aren't actually driven.

Anyhoo - are any of the NSW SAU Team entering the NSW round in 2-weeks?

I'll be there in the slowest, yet coolest car in the field.

Come and cheer for me

I am acutally seriously considering the perth event this year. Went to the launch party and was a very good night over here. I am a bit worried about the s15 6 speed box, 300+hp and twin plate clutch.....

Your so full of sh1t. You are a good driver plenty capable of beating me and most others....its just that a combination of lack of seat time and no belief in a car spannered by me and the swag of merry SAUers who helped piece Humpty Dumpty back together. Well you psyched yourself out and didnt want to break something i had worked so hard to get ready. I love you for it and appreciate that you didnt want to hurt it...that said. FARK YOU!!! You abandoned me and Team 32...so, thinking Rowdy woudl make an awesone co-driver who would no doubt beat me :) Plus Marlin has put his hand up which icould be so much fun! :glare:

I'm doing the W.A. round this year. The schedule sounds really good. I'm coming over at the start of July for a practise run down at Collie and Barbagallo just to get familiar with the place. I did a half day at AHG earlier this year and that's a great set-up for sure.

The thing about these type of events is they aren't as bad on drivelines as everyone thinks mostly because the surfaces you do most of your starts from don't have the grip to put huge strains through them. The only place you're really likely to hurt it is at Kwinana. So if you take that easy you should be right.

But if you want to speak to a few more of us beforehand I know a few guys will be at the Collie track day on July 1st.

Ahh excellent. I will try and get down there for a look on July. I am just going there for fun anyway. My experience is limited to a few MC track days. Its more for the increased experience too in motorsports.

the organisers are crack ups too.

It doesnt look like a Targa west or Targa tasmania style racing though. It looks very interesting and quite enjoyable for the newbies of racing.

come around for a beer when you guys hit town. Should be able to help you with contacts and stuff for people over here if you need it.

I'm actually competing with a Perth local (Blaise Paris in an EVO 8MR). Not sure if you know him but if you go to any of the AHG sprint series events he'll be there. I'll be using his car for all my W.A. stuff with him.
